Best value: Kore V2 (€85)

Our most affordable adult gi keeps the construction that matters: a one-piece 380 GSM Micro Pearl Weave jacket, triple-reinforced stress points, a vulcanised rubber lapel insert and 275 GSM cotton pants with double-reinforced knees. It is IBJJF approved; the belt is sold separately. Available in men's A00–A5, women's F0–F5 and youth M0000–M4 (€70).

Best first gi: The ONE V2 (€105)

€20 more than the Kore V2 buys a denser 400 GSM High-Tech Pearl Weave jacket, 10 oz cotton pants and soft cotton tape on the inside seams. It feels substantial from the first class, which is why we suggest it to most people buying their first gi. Also in women's (€105) and youth (€85) cuts.

The Nano combines a 380 GSM Pearl Weave jacket with 270 GSM ripstop pants that dry quickly and keep the uniform light in summer. It follows the IBJJF 2024 uniform rules and comes in women's (€110) and youth (€88) versions.

Cut for women: Empowered (€110)

The Empowered starts from a women's pattern rather than a scaled-down men's gi: a 400 GSM High-Tech Pearl Weave jacket, 10 oz cotton pants, double-reinforced knees and a free drawstring bag. Sizes F0–F5, in white or black.
