When I choose THE ONE as my first Gi, I wanted something that wasn't too dear, but also from a brand known for making good quality. I wasn't aiming for anything high tech or fancy, but a solid model for training. I was most concerned about sizing. Given that the reviews differ drastically between people and I had only ever worn a male fit during my single lesson trial lesson. So I was sort of eyeballing it - looking at the stature of women wearing this Gi, to assess which brand would best suit my body shape (more curvy than straight ) I ended up at KingZ - according to the size chart I was either at the max weight/size for an F2 or right in the middle of F3. I went for the F3 and when it arrived it fit me like a tent (arms so long my fingertips barely showed and very baggy pants). I was torn between shrinking and returning. Since F2 was at the time sold out in any case I thought I'd risk shrinking it, even if it meant I'd not be able to return in case it failed. But 2 bouts in the dryer on low heat and the arms are now at wrist level. I am very pleased, because now I have a very easy to care for Gi (which I can wash & dry on low heat after every roll) instead of carefully having to cold wash an F2 in order to avoid shrinking.
Apart from that I have now used it for 2 months and the fit and feel are super comfortable. I can roll easily & in the summer heat it's warm but not suffocatingly so. I'd recommend this 10/10 as a beginner Gi (not sure what higher belts look for in a Gi, but suspect this is a decent allrounder)
Love this gi, it is very comfortable for every day use. It fits slightly bigger than the kingz empowered gi and the material is more flexible.
The ONE Womens Jiu Jitsu Gi - Black/Rose Gold - FREE White Belt
it perfectly fits me, F0 is for me <3 i’ve always wanted a kingz gi but i wasn’t sure about the sizes, as with the female ones i always had issues because they are too big. now my next gi will be kingz as well - EU shipment is very cheap too, thank you kingz!
